I like the wash of them and they look good with a long shirt, but the rise of them is really awkward and you can’t wear shorter shirts with them

I tried on a size 9 in stores but it was too large then I tried on a size 7 when I reordered these, it fits alright.. The sizes are a little weird so I if I got an 8 it would have been perfect.
